This September, Short N Sweet Entertainment shared the story of the second kind with a feature on the first-ever GameCrunch Invitational, a night when gaming, music, comedy, and creator culture shared one room at the Microsoft Flagship Store in New York City.
The feature takes readers back to August 1, when an invite-only crowd of creators, entertainers, and industry leaders came together for competitive play, live content, and the kind of connections that only happen in person. It follows the energy into Day 2 on August 2, when 100 pre-registered gamers took over the store for free tournaments in Mortal Kombat, NBA 2K, and more.
It also gives well-deserved recognition to the partners who made it possible. Title sponsor Elo Gaming, along with Microsoft, Turtle Beach, Monster Energy, AND1, WHOOSH!, Scosche, and Via’s Cookies, helped turn a vision into a real experience.
